Creamy Chicken And Wild Rice
1 pkg. (8.25 oz.) skillet-dinner mix for mushroom and
wild rice
1 lb. skinless, boneless chicken breast, cut into 1" pcs.
1 can (14 1/2 oz.) ready-to-serve chicken broth
1 can (12 oz.) evaporated milk
1/2 cup water
2 tbs. margarine or butter, melted
2 tbs. instant chopped onion
Mix uncooked rice and sauce mix (from dinner mix) and
remaining ingredients in 2-3 1/2 qt. slow cooker. Cover
and cook on LOW 5 to 6 hr. or until rice is tender. Stir
mixture. Cover and let stand about 15 min. or until
thickened and desired consistency.
