Pan-Seared Beef Steaks with Garlic Red Wine Gravy
From: Campbell's Kitchen
3 tsp. butter
8 filet mignons (tenderloin steaks), 3/4" thick (about 5
oz. each)
1/2 cup chopped shallots or onion
1 clove garlic, minced
1 can (10 1/4 oz.) Campbell'sŪ Beef Gravy
1/2 cup dry red wine
Heat 1 tsp. butter in large skillet over high heat. Add
4 steaks and cook 2 min. on each side. Reduce heat to
medium or until desired doneness. Remove steaks. Cover
and keep warm. Repeat with 1 tsp. butter and remaining
steaks. Heat remaining butter in pan and cook shallots 1
min. Add garlic and cook 30 seconds.
Add gravy and wine. Heat to a boil and cook 1 min.
Return steaks to pan and heat through
