Chili with Beans
Serving Size : 4
2 pounds ground beef - browned and drained
8 ounces red onion - chopped
1 14 oz can green beans - drained
1 14 oz can diced tomatoes - with juice
2 teaspoons garlic - minced
1 teaspoon cumin powder
1 tablespoon chili powder
1/2 cup strong coffee
1 teaspoon Mexican Oregano
1/4 teaspoon red chili flakes
Yield: 4 large servings Brown meat, drain; add onions
and garlic and sauté. Cut green bean with a kitchen
scissors into small pieces. Dump everything else in and
cook on simmer until you think it's ready! Great for the
crockpot! Notes: Spices such as oregano, more chili
powder, Tabasco or whatever you like can be added along
with salt and pepper.
