Mushroom Saucepan Stuffing
Makes 4 servings
Try this quick-to-fix side dish for the holidays or
anytime.
1 cup coarsely chopped mushrooms
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup margarine or butter
1 3/4 cups water
1/4 cup Dijon Mustard
4 cups seasoned dry bread stuffing cubes
2 tablespoons dried parsley flakes
Cook mushrooms and onion in margarine or butter in large
saucepan over medium-high heat until tender. Stir in
water and mustard; heat to a boil. Reduce heat; cover
and simmer 5 minutes. Remove from heat. Add bread cubes
and parsley, stirring to coat well. Cover; let stand 5
minutes. Fluff with fork before serving.
