Cranberry-Maple Sauce
Bon Appétit
2-12 oz packages fresh cranberries
1 1/2 cups pure maple syrup
1 cup (packed) brown sugar
1/2 cup water
3/4 tsp maple extract
Combine all ingredients in a heavy large saucepan. Bring
to a boil, stirring often. Reduce heat to medium: simmer
until cranberries pop, stirring often, about 12 minutes.
Cool completely. Cover & chill.
Note: Can be made 5 days ahead.
