Fried Biscuits
2 cups flour
1 tablespoon sugar
1 1/4 cup milk
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
Sift dry ingredients; stir in milk. Mixture will be
gooey. Heat oil in skillet to 375 degrees. Drop mixture
by teaspoons into hot oil. Cook, turning once, until
golden brown on each side. Drain on paper towels. These
biscuits are light and crispy and do NOT absorb oil.
Makes about 25 biscuits.
