Marinated London Broil Steak


(1) London Broil Steak that is 1 ¼” thick (boneless top sirloin can also be used)

Marinating Sauce:
1 (15 oz) can of tomato sauce
1 can of mushrooms with liquid drained
1/4 cup of lemon juice
1/3 cup of soy sauce
1 tsp. of garlic powder
1 tsp. of dried oregano

Mix all sauce ingredients together. Place meat in a non-metal container. Pour sauce over London Broil that has been cut 1 1/4 inches thick. The thickness is very important. Or you can use Boneless Round Steak cut the same thickness. Cover and allow to soak in refrigerator overnight or at least 8 hours. Then grill on a medium hot grill for approximately 10 minutes on each side. This will cook it to medium. Slice meat thin at an angle. Heat the sauce to a boil and simmer for at least 5 minutes before serving with the meat.
